Elemental short listed for top entrepreneur award
Tech for Good company, Elemental Software, has reached the final of the entrepreneur awards hosted by JCI Derry, sponsored by Derry City and Strabane District Council. Elemental’s cloud based platform, with social prescribing and community empowerment at the core, connects the main stakeholders in the health improvement supply chain and is designed to reduce the demand on GP surgeries and A&E departments- therefore saving lives and money.
Elemental has been nominated in the Best Start Up category alongside Independent Derry, Pop Riot and Scattr. On hearing the news, Elemental Co Founder and former JCI Derry member, Jennifer Neff, said ‘This news comes at a great time for Elemental, having expanded the team to help deliver a healthy pipeline of prospective customers and scale the business across the UK and Middle East. We’re delighted to say that we are creating 10 jobs in Derry, tapping into the wonderful talent that exists in the region to enhance our capabilities in this exciting period in our growth. I am proud to have been a member of JCI Derry early in my career and believe it gave me the confidence to lead projects, network and contribute to delivering the region’s strategic vision around entrepreneurship and innovation’.
Team Elemental is looking forward to the award ceremony which takes place on Saturday 23 September 2017. To learn more about Elemental’s journey go to https://elementalsoftware.co
