Former Social Prescribing Manager Joins Team Elemental
Elemental Software has expanded its team with the appointment of a new Project Manager. Based in Elemental’s office in Derry, Northern Ireland, Clare Cooper will work closely with Elemental’s co-founders, Product Manager and community programme delivery team and software development team to ensure that Elemental projects are scalable, measurable and meet the needs of the community.
Clare has over 4 years experience working within the community and voluntary sector and has held a number of roles in health improvement projects which aimed to reduce health inequalities and improve the health and well-being of the community.
Prior to joining Elemental, Clare was the Social Prescribing Manager at the Bogside and Brandywell Health Forum, a Healthy Living Centre in Derry. Bogside and Brandywell Health Forum is a community-led health improvement project tasked with bringing together many different groups and agencies in order to enhance the health and well being of residents. Services include falls prevention programmes, nutrition and diet advice, smoking cessation groups and physical activity classes.
Previously, Clare was responsible for building strategic linkages with GPs through social prescribing, delivering social prescribing programmes, supporting participants to improve their health and wellbeing and encouraging community engagement and participation.
The new role as Project Manager will see Clare supporting multiple projects from initiation through to deployment, reporting on the status of projects, managing day-to-day operational aspects of the projects and working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
