Elemental – The Social Prescribing People and The Martin Bell Partnership have announced a renewal of their successful partnership to date, through into 2018.
Elemental is the world’s leading provider of social prescribing software, based in Derry, Northern Ireland. Co-founded by Leeann Monk-Ozgul and Jennifer Neff, the social prescribing platform makes it easier for health and social care related professionals to make direct referrals to community-based lifestyle interventions, such as exercise, diet, social and mental health programmes to support those most at risk. The unique software also measures the impact of referrals, tackling one of the key challenges faced by the healthcare sector in demonstrating the real impact that non-clinical treatments can bring to people’s lives.
The Martin Bell Partnership is a health and social care consultancy, providing expert advice, guidance and practical support around healthcare, healthcare IT and general business support.
Leeann Monk-Ozgul, Co-founder of Elemental said “Martin has really helped us over the past 6 months with his strategic advice and guidance. His knowledge and understanding of the NHS and health and social care in the UK have been invaluable in helping us move forward. When our initial agreement came to a close, we had no qualms about re-engaging with Martin for his strategic insight, industry knowledge and commercial acumen”.
Jennifer Neff added “With Martin’s strategic contributions, we were able to shape a case for investors that has led to £300K in our recent investment round and a further £90K from Invest Northern Ireland”.
Martin Bell of The Martin Bell Partnership said “Elemental was one of my first clients when I started my business at the beginning of 2017, after many years in the NHS and my involvement on the supplier side of healthcare IT. It has been fantastic to go with them on their journey so far and see how successful they have become in a relatively short space of time. With this new agreement in place, we can both look forward to working together to take Elemental to the next level – from startup to scale up and beyond!”
As a result of their successful partnership, Elemental has experienced continued growth in their social prescribing platform, with a number of recent wins in CCGs, Local Authorities, Community and Voluntary Organisations and Housing Associations.
The Martin Bell Partnership has around 30 clients to date, covering health and social care, start ups to large organisations, mainly focused on health and social care IT.
