Although we came to MWC this year as newbies, we were cited as ‘Ones to watch in 2020’ by 4 Years From Now (4YFN). #4yfn
Winning the European Connected Health Alliance Investor Challenge meant we were amongst three technology companies pitching at 2 major MWC events.
Coincidentally all three of the companies that pitched at the Digital Health and Wellbeing Summit were female… or maybe not given the rise in women in tech.
It was fantastic being up there in front of all those Investors, Innovators and Healthcare Professionals presenting our social prescription referral and tracking technology. We used the platform to present our new branding and to tell everyone about how our technology has been proven to reduce the risk of type 2 Diabetes.
Brian O’Connor, Chair of the ECH Alliance, and his team didn’t waste anytime in introducing us to Heads of Innovation for leading Insurance Companies and to Commissioning Leads for Multinational Health Organisations. It wasn’t long before we were scheduling follow up meetings with some of Europe’s leading Healthcare representatives, to explore collaborative partnerships to provide a ‘more than medicine’ approach to community health.
We heard a lot of people say MWC ‘the best place to be if you’re in mobile’ and ‘the exhibitions are very cool’ or ‘the keynotes are inspirational and the networking is crucial’ along with ‘the technology at the show is very cutting edge’. After being part of it, we have to say it’s all simply true.
We always knew the ECH Alliance could open doors for us but to see it in action means that Europe is now reachable for Elemental Software.
