Elemental Co-Founder announced as one of the Most Influential Women in Tech for second year running
Leeann Monk-Ozgul, Co founder and Co-CEO of Elemental Software, has retained her place as one of the Most Influential Women in Tech on Computer Weekly’s long list.
In 2017, Leeann was listed with over 160 women who had worked to increase the amount of diversity in the technology industry and had contributed to the sector.
Now, in 2018, more than 200 women have been put forward to be considered for the top 50 list of the most influential women in UK tech, as well as the upcoming award of most influential woman 2018.
Leeann said “With our background in community development, Jennifer Neff and I have always been passionate about empowering individuals to improve their health and wellbeing and we recognised that technology had a vital role to play.
It’s fantastic to have been shortlisted as one of the UK’s most influential women in tech for the second year running. We’ve had a significant year of growth since being shortlisted by Computer Weekly in 2017 and the announcement helps to further build on that momentum.”

Since the launch of its list of influential UK women in tech in 2012, the list has expanded from the top 25 women in UK tech to the top 50 to showcase as many of the industry’s women as possible.
Next week, Computer Weekly will announce the 50 women in this year’s list and allow readers to vote on who they think should receive the accolade of most influential woman in UK tech 2018.
The winner will be announced at Computer Weekly’s annual diversity in tech event, on 26 September.
