What can you expect from the role?


We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual seeking to start their career in the tech for good industry. The position is based in our headquarters in Derry City. The successful applicant will work closely with and report to the Finance and Admin Manager.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist with the Sales ledger.

  • Responsible for operating purchase ledger.

  • Review departmental budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness.

  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.

  • Assist with quarterly VAT return.

  • Solely responsible for arranging and booking all travel which includes flights, accommodation and car hire.

  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards & monthly expenses.

  • Screening calls – first point of contact. 

  • General administrative duties.


Essential Criteria:



  • 2 years experience in a busy administrative role

  • Working experience of G-Suite package

  • Be able to communicate in a professional way

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality


Desirable Criteria:



  • Experience of working within public, community and voluntary sector partnerships

  • An interest in health innovation

  • Experience of working in an accounts role

  • Experience working with Xero accountancy software
