Account Manager/Trainer – England

What can you expect from the role?


We’re looking for a passionate professional who will be responsible for managing and maintaining Elemental’s relationships with its customers.


The Account Manager will work closely with the Projects and Development team and will be responsible for building long-term relationships with our customers and support these customers for the length of their relationship with Elemental.


Our goal is to sustain our existing 100% customer renewal rate.  The Account Manager will also be in charge of upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, securing new business, meeting with and demoing to prospects and supporting the Sales team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers

  • Generate sales among customer accounts, including upselling and cross-selling

  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers

  • Work closely with the Head of Projects and Head of Product to ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion

  • Communicates customer needs and demands to Head of Projects and Head of Product

  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics

  • Manage projects within customer relationships, working to carry out customer goals while meeting company goals

  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients

  • Coordinate with team members working on the same account to ensure consistent service

  • Collaborate with Sales team to reach prospective clients

  • Service multiple customers concurrently, often meeting deadlines

  • Keep records of customer meetings, communications, requests and status updates

  • Running daily checks, flagging and logging issues and troubleshooting

  • Working closely with the Marketing Team to shape case studies 

  • Travel to various customer sites 

  • Training customers on our Social Prescribing Core Platform from the perspective of all users. Training on our self refer module, EMIS/ Clinical System referrals, our Elemental Academy and the use of Zendesk.


Essential Criteria:



  • Account Management experience 

  • Client-focused solutions experience 

  • Project Management skills

  • Ability to communicate customer needs with Elemental staff

  • Talent for influencing client management

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously, 

  • Negotiation skills, listening skills, communication skills, presentation skills, time management skills

  • Full clean driving license


Desirable Criteria:



  • BA or Honours Degree in Business or Customer Relationships

  • Experience of working in an Agile environment

  • An interest in health innovation

  • 2 years experience working in Customer Support, Customer Relationships or Project/Account Management
