BETSI CADWALADR UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD IS COMMITTED TO HELPING BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN SECTORS, SERVICES, AND THE COMMUNITY SO THAT MORE PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO ACCESS THE NON-MEDICAL SUPPORT THEY NEED, WHEN THEY NEED IT AND HOW THEY NEED IT.
Mantell Gwynedd is the most recent project in North Wales to adopt Elemental’s digital social prescribing technology in a bid to enhance the reach of their social prescribing scheme in Arfon, Gwynedd.
The scheme utilises the social prescribing model as an effective early intervention method to identify and encourage people to take control of their own life to make changes that improve their health and emotional well-being. A social impact assessment (SROI – Social Return on Investment) has been undertaken of the project on a continuous basis since 2017.

Embedding digital into the social prescribing scheme via Elemental’s Core platform will embed a clear referral pathway and make it easier to connect people to classes suited to their needs, and will also enable Mantell Gwynedd to:
