Who are we?
Elemental Software is a Tech For Good company based in Derry and Dubai with the purpose of empowering community health by creating meaningful connections between people and their communities to address the root cause of health inequalities.

Elemental’s social prescription software was developed to address an increasing demand to deliver more effective social prescribing programmes and support the issues beyond clinical needs that impact on health and well being.

Social prescribing, sometimes referred to as community referral, is a means of enabling GPs, nurses and other primary care professionals to refer people to a range of local, non-clinical services” - The King’s Fund

The cloud based software makes it easier for health and social care professionals to prescribe a patient-centric, non medical prescription for a suite of quality assured, locally based, lifestyle interventions, enabling a reduction in health risks and long term demands on health services.

What can you expect from the role?
The role will involve working closely with Elemental’s co-founders, marketing team and referral partners, developing partnerships with key influencers within the NHS, Housing Associations, Local Authorities and the C&V sector to promote, scale and measure the social prescribing model of care using Elemental’s social prescribing platform:

  • Educate and inform potential clients about Elemental’s social prescribing platform
  • Bring passion and energy to sourcing new partnership leads
  • Develop partnerships with key contacts across Elemental’s target audiences
  • Deliver face to face partnership activity in line with the Elemental growth plan and partner strategies
  • Identify opportunities to support stakeholders and partners in reducing health risks of communities

The essential criteria associated with this role includes:

  • Ability to travel throughout the UK on a weekly basis
  • Strong network within NHS (Primary care / commissioning)
  • Excellent knowledge of the NHS industry (at least three years experience)
  • A passion for building resilience in communities through better community connections
  • Previous experience of delivering results at CCG and GP Federation level
  • A genuine passion for community development and reducing community health risks
  • Commercially focused with excellent negotiation skills
  • Highly adaptable and quick to learn new information
  • Highly personable, very energetic, and excellent at client engagement and demonstrating the value in the systems you believe in
  • Senior Account Manager experience
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Full driving licence
