The latest ingredient to our tech for good team has been added in the form of Denise McConnell-Dillon, who with over 15 years experience in community development, mental health, training and project management in the community and voluntary sector sector, brings Team Elemental to an equal balance of community health experts and techies.

The perfect combo you may say in helping clinical commissioning groups, housing associations and community and voluntary sector organisations empower communities most at risk towards lifestyle change and better health and wellbeing.

Elemental Co-Founder, Leeann Monk-Özgül explains why it has come at a such an important time for the company,

“Our portfolio of customers is growing. We needed even more support to deliver large scale projects with a number of private, public and third sector partners in the heart of communities most in need. Denise understands the challenges faced by these communities and knows how to keep projects on track, and get results”.

Denise’s career to date has included working for organisations such as Cancer Research NI, Hands that Talk deaf awareness charity and mental health charity, Aware NI. She talks about why she is so supportive of Elemental Software’s approach to measuring the impact of social prescribing.

“Elemental are taking social prescribing to the next level, using digital to connect the disconnected. I truly believe this is an ideal way to ensure that the most in need in our communities are given access to community based interventions that will help improve their health outcomes.”

Leeann concludes, “We are delighted to have Denise as part of our team. She brings the right mix of experience and skills needed to help Elemental make a difference in the community- making meaningful connections and producing evidence alongside our platform”.
