Join Team Elemental for a summer of practical experience in marketing.

We are delighted to be able to offer an exciting opportunity to an enthusiastic marketing assistant based at Elemental Software’s Head Office in Derry / Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

Who are we?
Elemental Software is a Tech For Good company based in Derry and in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company is led by two female co-founders, with the purpose of empowering community health by creating meaningful connections between people and their communities to address the root cause of health inequalities.

Elemental’s social prescription software was developed to address an increasing demand to deliver more effective social prescribing programmes and support the issues beyond clinical needs that impact health and well being.


“Social prescribing, sometimes referred to as community referral, is a means of enabling GPs, nurses and other primary care professionals to refer people to a range of local, non-clinical services” King’s Fund

The cloud based software makes it easier for health and social care professionals to prescribe, as they would medication, a patient-centric non medical prescription for a suite of quality assured, locally based, lifestyle interventions, enabling a reduction in health risks and long term demands on health services.

What can you expect from the role?
You will undertake a range of tasks encompassing the full marketing mix. You will report to the marketing lead within Elemental Software and support them in daily marketing administrative tasks which include:

  • Market research
  • Data input
  • Assisting in marketing and advertising promotional activities
  • Updating company database and customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Helping organise marketing events

You will be an enthusiastic marketing assistant who wants practical marketing experience in a fast paced environment.

The essential criteria associated with this role includes:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to multi task, use your own initiative and carry out instructions
  • Strong desire to learn, along with professional drive
  • An understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel and/or G-Suite Office tools
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • Interest in technology and innovation
